The glass was warm between her hands 🍷

the scent of spice, the pull of chance ✨

He spoke like autumn — low and slow 🍂

his voice like a fire’s afterglow 🔥

The laughter drifted far behind,

replaced by whispers, low, entwined.

Lanterns flickered, leaves took flight 🍁,

the night itself forgot the night 🌌.

Her sweater brushed against his chest,

the place her heartbeat came to rest ❤️.

His coat wrapped close around her frame 🧥,

the air still trembling with her name 🎶.

The fireworks faded, the laughter died 🎆,

but the glow of her cheeks refused to hide 🌹.

Lanterns flickered, cider steam curled, ☕

the night felt softer — a slowed-down world 🍂.

The town’s annual Fall Harvest Festival was in full swing — cider stands steaming ☕, cinnamon sugar dust floating in the air 🍩, and way too many people wearing plaid 🧣.

“Don’t even think about it,” she said, eyeing the ring-toss booth 🎯 like it had personally wronged her.

He smirked 😏. “What? Win you a stuffed pumpkin? 🎃 I feel like that’s the least you deserve.”

They met where apples kissed the ground 🍎

and every step made softer sound 🍃

Her sweater smelled of rain and dusk 🌧

his gaze was danger wrapped in trust 🖤

The trees bowed low in amber light 🌳

their shadows kissed the edge of night 🌙

Though hot in the day it cools down at night. ❄️

He holds her ever the more tight. 🫂

Fall🍂 is here, but with a dry heat. 🔥

It feels like he takes the very wind from me. 🌬️

...this moment is too much even for our eyes to meet. ❤️🔥

Your touch turns ordinary moments bright 💗

Today is Thanksgiving Day🦃 and I'm so full of Glee! 🤎🧡

At the dining room table we behold the ginormous spread. 😋

I can feel my love staring at me and I turn to look him in the eye.

He leans over and whispers in my ear.💋

"I know what else is also delicious." ❤️

My mother looks over at him and... 🙀

I slowly open my eyes and look around the room. My head has a slight pounding and I see the room in a fuzzy hue. 🍷

Oh, I'm on the floor in a make shift bed in front of the fireplace. 🛌

"Ugh...oh" I sigh.

My head is pounding, but a yummy sensations begins to tickle my nose. 🍳

"Hey, good morning, would you like breakfast, My Queen?" 👑

He towers over me and kisses me gently. 💋💋💋

"Here, let me get you inside, My Dear." 💖

The touch of his skin, the taste of his lips, me scratching his bare back with my finger tips. 💋

Pressed against the cool glass of the living room sliding doors.

My hair in a mess, me trying to STAY dressed. ❤️🔥

Tonight we're having a movie date night...we're going to stay up late together and snuggle real tight. 🎥🍿

As soon as the film begins he grabs me so fast it almost makes my head spin. 😵‍💫

He raps me so tight in a blanket, I can hardly move! 😶‍🌫️

"We've both had such a busy work week this week and I can't tell you how much I've missed you so, text messages and phone calls only do so much you know."

But I seem to have gotten it everywhere... I made a mess in the kitchen and it just so happens to be all over me.

I look up and I catch him staring at me.

He gazes into my eyes and my heart skips a beat.

We're supposed to be in the kitchen making fall treats 🍁🍭 but instead we lay on the sofa cuddled tightly together.
